Baringa acknowledges the traditional custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to sky, land, sea and community. We pay our respects to their elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
Our school is located on Gunaikurnai land.
REPORTING TO PARENTS
Communication
Communication between home and school is highly valued at Baringa. To help facilitate this, each student in our primary unit is provided with a communication book or diary, which may be used to write messages and share information between home and school.
Reporting
Student support group meetings are held during term 1 & 3 and are used to plan for student programs as well as reporting progress in learning areas to parents.
Formal reporting to parents is carried out twice a year. Written reports are completed and sent home to parents at the end of term 2 and term 4.
